You are now offically part of our RP family and there is no getting out. LOL You will soon come to love us, believe it or not. LOL I had the biopsy and as I told you all it showed was inflammation. It was inconclusive so I wouldn't judge your illness by the biopsy. I think you need a new dr., just my opinion. You really shouldn't be messing around with your eyes. Some of us have lost our site because of lack of treatment. RP is controlable and you can get it under contronl, but you need TREATMENT, and it sounds like you need it NOW! I wouldn't wait til Monday if it were me. (again, just my opinion) You can be pain free once the pred starts. Take Dr. Trenthams report and take it to your dr or to the ER and insist on trying a short term dose of pred to see if it stops all of these problems. A short dose will not hurt you, if indeed it is RP, you will feel 100%. I hope you have a wonderful 4th but I hope you get well really fast too. Oh, one important thing that I will add (Heidi usually does this, but I'll say it for her this time) LOL Be sure to get on some medicine to protect your stomach if you go on pred or an anti inflamatory. Ther are a lot of them out there like Prevacid, Prilosec, Protonix, etc. Be sure to ask your dr.
