I am 37 today, my BMI is 42. I have been watching and reading youre

posts and researching this surgery for about 4-6 months now. On

October 1, 2000, I sent in my patient info to Dr. R. Today when I

checked my e-mail I found my insurance letter. #%#@*(!!!! I know by

now that you will be able to understand this sign lanuage!! I have

not posted much but I have privately e-mailed alot of you. Thanks so

much for your help so far.

I am the Industrial Relations Manager for the company I work for so I

have all ready contacted my insurance company. They have told me

that if I am classified morbidly obese there should be no problem

getting it covered. After all of the trouble I have seen some of you

go through I am still a little scared.

I have scheduled my complete physical, mamio, and pap test. I have

all ready written a 13 page letter addressing all of the items

required and had an EKG. I hope my letter does not get rejected. Can

anyone tell anything else I should be doing? I am not yet concerned

about travel arrangements. I will pick your brain about that later.

For now I would appreciate any info you might want to share to a new

comer to this exciting group!!

Sorry to be so long. You guys have been great!

God Bless!
