Thanks to those blocks, I've not needed narcotic analgesics for several years. Ellen, You've often spoken of your successes with Dr. Gress, yet it's been a while since you've mentioned this to our membership. We have a whole new group of members this year who may be interested in this information, so it's great news to hear that Dr. Gress is now at Duke. This may be of great advantage for many of our southerner's who could benefit from his procedures, as you have. I've never forgotten your story about how he was the one who did the EUS biopsy that established your official diagnosis after you had been searching for help for so long. Does this mean that you'll be traveling down to the Carolina's when you need your next EUS celiac block? It's good to hear that they are still doing such a great job of eliminating your need for narcotics! With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth South Carolina SC & SE Regional Rep.
