Cetogenic diet

Hi

I have few weeks out of contact.

You know, some times our babies cross “so hard health moments”.

I was trying carefully during 4 months the intro-diet and just for few days

viewed a little progress but after that the situation comes to be bad again. I

tried with many things. (my son) begins again with terrible colic, paste,

fetid and putrid poop, undigested food, gas and seizures. During 4 months he ate

carrots, local fresh pumpkin, chayote, meat, chicken, turkey, fish, pear and

apples, every one well cooked, peeled and deseeded. No good results. 15 days ago

I went to visit a new doctor who knows about SCD, and he help people who

practice it. I explain every thing done, and he suggested make a cetogenic diet

before SCD. My son case is severe and the gut is very damage. After the 3th day

eaten just chicken his poop changes totally. Today is perfect. Color, smell,

consistence, thickness ¡ARE PERFECT! The complex sugar absorption is now the

main problem. The doctor says we need to repair the intestine with this kind of

diet and then continue with the SCD. My baby

is too different, he is sleeping a lot but it is part of the diet, he eats like

a lion, drink gallons of water, but the seizures has stopped and his

neurological health is great. Now we incorporate on his diet turkey, fish and

meat, he has been tolerating every one.

I really want to share this news with the group because maybe it could be help

for somebody.
