Private rooms, taped boobs, keloids, Vicks under the toes??

It was always my understanding that this was a support group. I'm

confused. Gullible folks like myself believe these bizarre stories

and I don't know which are real or a joke. i.e. just when I am

certain

Vicks under the toes for a cold is a funny joke, someone else writes

in that they too use it. And another thing - if I get a private room

does this guarantee sex after surgery? Do the Angels of NC provide

this much desired service(male please)?

1. The taped boobs story is a joke. After surgery, particularly if you

have large breasts, many people have said that after surgery, their

breasts were " stuck to their chest and they had to pry them off. " Dr.

R. explained in chat one night that this is likely due to the cleanser

that is used after surgery to clean off the chest, though it is not a

glue and has no adhesive qualities at all. You breasts are not actually

" glued " or " taped. "

2. I've never heard the Vicks story but common sense will tell you that

Vicks can't help a cold whether you put it under your toenails or

anywhere else because a cold is a virus and there is no cure for it as

yet other than to let it run its course. Vicks used on your chest or

under your nose or in an vaporizer may provide some temporary relief by

helping dialate the the nasal passages but that's about it.

3. Re: Sex in the hospital after surgery. You will probably have a

private room in Durham. Most of the rooms are private. NONE of the

doors has locks. The nurses and other staff, as well as other MGB

patients and visiters were regularly in and out of my room, but

definitely not for sex. The male nurses do not provide sex or at least

I certainly didn't get any offers while I was there. The nurses -- male

and female -- were very professional and provided excellent care.
