Guest guest Posted September 5, 2002 Report Share Posted September 5, 2002 Hi, Sharyn, I had hip replacement surgery two years ago. And there is no greater coward than I when it comes to surgery! I was worried about the polychondritis but after I explained it to the surgeon I could see that he had done some research on it. So I felt secure about that. So in three months time I had gone from crutches to cane to nothing.. I was walking normally and pain free after years of pain. So look forward to that. Best wishes....
