Hi Danny,

Although my pain pattern doesn't follw exactly the one you outline,

I have often had, for many years, what appears to be muscular or

rheumaticky-type pain in the back associated with panc attacks.

That's quite apart from the fact that the typical upper-abdominal

pain also goes through to the back. The two back pains are different

however and the former could easily be mistaken for a physical

muscular, rheumatic or " bone " pain. I know it isn't; it's just

another manifestation of the CP! I assume it's to do with the fact

that all sorts of nerves could be affected by damage to the pancreas

and surrounding tissues? Just a guess; I have no medical

qualifications!

Bizarre disease we share!

With good wishes,

Flis (UK)
