My autistic son gets Houston's enzymes right now (legal kind), but

I've never noted a difference in him since starting them or if he

misses them. I don't know if they help him at all.

My question is, has anyone found in doing SCD they did not *need*

enzymes anymore?

Thanks, Michele

We have never ever used enzymes whether before or since starting scd. I

know that some people have great success with them. We just never knew

about them until a few months ago, and our dan never has suggested that we

use them. My personal opinion is that if you see no benefit from using the

enzymes, then spend your money elsewhere. If he only misses them

occassionally, then maybe you should pull them...and make sure that nothing

else changes...and see what happens. Sometimes, you can't tell a difference

if it is just one day, but can see a change over a course of time. After

pulling them, if it appears that he does need them, add them back. If not,

that frees up a little money to use for something else. Just my opinion.
