Guest guest
Dear Tami, Sorry I am slow answering you. I ended up getting that flu that has been going around and I didn't do my e-mails for a while. I'm glad my history gave you more hope. I wish you the best. Let me know how you do. I changed my summary so I wanted to send it out. Here it is. In summary, how did I survive all these years of feeling ill? Not only survive them but also work full time, have a child, care for my home and family, support my child and myself and later start a bookkeeping business that has flourished? I believe it has been positive thinking. Dreaming of what I wanted and imagining it to be true. I knew the day would come when I'd be well. But twenty-six years have proven that positive thinking alone is not the answer. When I added prayer, that made the difference. I found miracle after miracle. The other day I felt panicked. How many miracles can I have? The answer came to me. Seventy times seventy, it is endless, the same amount as forgiveness. Finding out about the Feingold Association from Dr. was a huge turning point. It may not be clear but I am still on this diet. I only eat foods in the Feingold Diet. If I want to test vinegar, I only use a product listed in the Feingold book and then take it to Dr. Jeanne for testing and treatment. Even when I was on the Hallelujah diet I was also on the Feingold diet. When I wanted to cook something from the Hallelujah Diet recipe book and it called for a product (such as Bragg Liquid Aminos) I only used this product if it was in my Feingold Diet book. I have followed this diet since Dr. told me about it. Over the years I got better at it and now I'm precise about it. There is no cheating, no exceptions. I follow it. When I eat out I only have broiled chicken, salad with lemon as a dressing or steamed vegetables. This way I know what I'm eating is absolutely safe. I believe this is why I have never gotten any more polyps, why I have never needed another surgery. Yes, it is true I also take Beconase each day too as my Doctor requested. But after doing research on the Internet I have concluded that this was not the solution. It hasn't worked for other people. This to me has been a huge incentive and statement that what I am doing is working. I also realized something very important when I first went to Dr. Jeanne. When I started I found I was allergic to several of the foods I was eating. When I stopped eating them it took several weeks and then my ears opened up. This is definite proof to me how long a reaction can last. So, my eating out once a week at a " safe " place was botching the entire rest of the week when I followed my diet so carefully! The Hallelujah Diet did work. It was not perfect. I still could not hear with my right ear, I still had nightmares. I believe the reason was because I stopped my eating out habit. When I ate out on the Hallelujah diet I only ate a salad or steamed vegetables. We actually didn't eat out very much. So, it stopped the reactions I was constantly having before when I'd eat out. The Elimination Diet was a disaster because I was allergic to four of the foods and since it was such a small group of foods that I ate constantly, I was also reacting constantly. The total cure for me came when I went to Dr. Jeanne and NAET. I have solved the nightmares, my right ear that never worked and so much more! This has not been a fast process. I started seeing her in January 2002. I have gone to her mostly twice a week since. However, by September I was cured of ITP! By November I could hear perfectly and have since except for five days when I got an ear infection! Each week I am adding more foods. My mysterious hives have gone. My energy level increases all the time. I didn't realize how low it truly was. My menopause symptoms have greatly improved. My smell is increasing all the time. I am so thankful, so grateful I found NAET. Dr. Nambudripad is teaching NAET constantly so that more and more Doctors are offering it. What do I recommend if you have Samter's Triad? Start the Feingold Diet now. I would start at stage one, which includes all the natural salicylates. Follow this diet perfectly and you may find you feel incredibly better. And follow it when you eat out too as I do now. Take advantage of the support that Feingold offers. Yes, I was still ill on the Feingold Diet. But I ate out and cancelled much of the benefit of the diet each week! This led to many more allergies later (to dairy, flour, soy, perfumes, etc.) which I couldn't figure out or find a solution to. Still, I have never needed surgery; I have not had polyps for twelve years. I contribute this completely to the Feingold diet. Next, start NAET treatments if at all possible. NAET will cure your allergies. It can help you find out what you are reacting too. It can lead to many miracles. You can find out more about Feingold at www.feingold.org. You can find out about NAET at www.naet.com. along with a list of practitioners. If you aren't near a practitioner more are being added all the time and perhaps you can encourage someone to become a practitioner. Any doctor with a license can learn NAET - a chiropractor, MD, acupuncturist, etc. I wish you many miracles! s Re: oregano juice/antifungal << File: ATT00001.txt; charset = iso-8859-1 >> << File: ATT00002.htm; charset = ISO-8859-1 >>
Guest guest
Dear in AK, Have you tried the Feingold Diet? It costs $60 I think to get all the information and the books. You get a support person to help you stay on the diet or you can e-mail me. This is a low cost possibility and you can try it for a month and see if it helps. It really did help me a lot. I felt a lot better when I started it and if I had avoided the problems I had when I ate out I think it would have worked out great for me. Feingold says to try it for two weeks but I think with our severe allergies a month is better. If you follow the diet perfect you may see a huge difference. When you go out to eat you can try what I do - just steamed vegetables, salad with lemon, grilled chicken. I know a diet is very difficult and emotional but I found that being sick was so difficult too. I got to the point where I'd do anything to feel better. This really isn't a diet. You can eat anything you want pretty much, you just change which brands you use. There is a lot more food now on this than when I first started it becuase there is more and more all natural foods out there. And, if you make the foods yourself you can have almost anything. Actually, you could start just on stage 2 which is where you have the all natural foods, you just avoid artificial colors, flavors and BHT, TBHQ and BHA. You could see if you feel better. If you do, you may find that you want to try out stage 1 where you also avoid the natural products and see if you feel even better. If you do feel better doing this diet then you slowly add products and test them. As you feel better maybe your body can tolerate the NAET treatments. In my summary I talked about getting on the Feingold Diet first. This is because it is a basic plan to help your body stop reacting and then you can go on the NAET plan. What I am doing is I am only adding new foods as I am treated for them with NAET. What do you think? in CA 's History << File: ATT00017.htm; charset = ISO-8859-1 >>
Guest guest
thanks for the info. I might be ready to try the Feingold, but still have no clue what NAET actually is. I'll keep you posted. thanks again Judy
Guest guest
Dear Judy, You can find out more about NAET if you read at the bottom of my history. Also at naet.com. It is an all natural accupressure treatment that cures your allergies! I found it incredible for me. Re: 's History thanks for the info. I might be ready to try the Feingold, but still have no clue what NAET actually is. I'll keep you posted. thanks again Judy << File: ATT00001.htm >>
Guest guest
Dear in AK, I forgot to tell you I think healing touch and crystal healing are worth trying. Why not? I think everything is worth trying. As far as NAET I did find I was very exhausted after about my first ten treatments. I also got a massage the day I got treatments since it was recommended by NAET. The woman who did my massage said the treatments were very powerful and released a lot of toxins and things so to drink lots of water. When I did this I stopped being so exhausted, it made a HUGE difference. She said to drink water constantly the day I got treated and it worked great. Maybe that would work for you. Also I had accupressure rather than accupunture. Maybe accupunture is more powerful and accupressure is better? Whoever does accupuncture I am sure could also do accupressure? Guest guest
People are probably wondering why we didn't treat until almost 12 months. 's flatness was not that bad at 6 months. We thought little of it since it was smaller than my older son's and we thought incorrectly that his head had rounded out. The pediatrician missed it then and you cannot blame her since it wasn't bad. We did some modest attempt of repositioning since birth, but missed the tight neck muscles and preference to turn right. If fell asleep in a car seat, swing, stroller, or bouncer, we left him there. (This was often.) 's head circumference was 99% at birth, which was a shock since I'm petite. We had checked after birth by a chiropractor since I believe all newborns should be checked. He worked on the neck, but didn't recommend follow up. Around 8 months, I noticed that 's head was growing into a rectangular shape, but I thought this was his genetic head shape. I'm extremely angry at the pediatrician for not picking up on the head by the 9 month checkup. She did not check the back of 's head then. By 11 months, I realized his flatness not only had not rounded out, but had gotten worse. We put investigating on our to-do list. My husband called the pediatrician's office and the advice nurse didn't advise bringing him in before the one year check-up. At 11.5 months I ran into a family whose baby had worn a helmet. I got all the information I could and scheduled the next available appointment with the ortho. 's numbers showed mild plagio with a little brachy. However, the ortho said visually was a moderate case. After 4.5 months, is visually mild.
Guest guest
Kathy, Thank you for sharing. I find it interesting what you said about getting 's spinal alignment checked right after birth. Our Chiro also recommends this. I do wonder whether the tort would have developed if the chiro had continued to work on . Also, I wonder whether this early work helped to prevent it from getting really bad. I wonder the same thing about . Until a couple of months ago, I knew absolutely nothing about adjustments and chiropractic. I now wonder whether we could have helped her out with her issues if we had her checked right after birth. Our chiro believes that her misalignments were caused by the cord being loosely wrapped around her neck at birth. While I'm not sure whether it would have made a difference in the actual brachy, I believe that it could have made a difference with her colic, milk allergy, and reflux. Since those issues are part of why she was put in a swing and slept in a car seat more than most babies, we could have possibly avoided the brachy. Guest guest
Hi, If I ever have another baby, which I probably won't, I'll be more aggressive with these alternative treatments early on. In 's baby pictures, I see the strong preference to turn right. Although he was able to turn left. - Kathy wrote:  Kathy,  Thank you for sharing.  I find it interesting what you said about getting 's spinal alignment checked right after birth.
