Guest guest Posted May 14, 2002 Report Share Posted May 14, 2002 Just wanted all to know I got hit with two viruses today so wanted to pass this along to everyone. The two viruses I received were W32/Hybris and W32/Disemboweler. They have files attached; one is called Sexy Virgin.scr and the other is Mkcompat.exe. I run an anti virus program called Panda which will do circles around most other virus checker including Norton. My best suggestion is when you send mail out please do not attach any files if possible. Mail was received with file attachment from Judith Ostry, however I don't think that is where any of these viruses came from. I wasn't quick enough to see who it came from, but I know one of them did come from an outsider. One can never be to careful now-a-days with all these nuts running around.
