It has a nice neutralizing effect,but the main reason is for the calcium. A friend of mine from church had stamach cancer. Had a mod. B2 and wad taking her calcium. She has since developed severe kyphosis(hunchback). It turns out she's having other metabolic problems(unrelated to the B2),but everytime I see her I say " ,take your Calcium " .
