Guest guest
My blood pressure used to always be around the normal levels, never a problem being too low or too high. Then the pancreatitis sets in and the first recording of my blood pressure during my 4th attack (which was bad enough to put me in hospital - I didn't know what was happening the first 3 times I had an attack, but they only lasted a few hours at the most, so I put up with them at home just trying to sqelch the pain) was 190/130. The doctor said I was lucky I didn't have any complications from it. I know it was the pain causing my bp to always skyrocket. during the attacks it always hovered around 150/101-129 or so. I have not had any pancreatitis pain or nausea for 8 months now, yet my bp rarely is at normal..the usual mine is at is 140/96 approx. I don't want to go on BP meds if I can help it because I know they are not really good for one's system..It has made me wonder if this is a leftover from pancreatitis..
