Guest guest
Sorry for taking so long to get in touch, things have been a little crazy around here with all the graduations and the hoopla with all that. I'm sorry you had to cut your trip home short. You did have many trips this summer so far and if allergies were the worse of it, all things considered, that's not so bad, right. I hope your feeling better. No panc problems I hope. How are the wedding plans coming? Is the date sept 7? Alison has decided not to leave home for college. It was her decision entirely. She will go to COC, premed. It should be ok COC and MUSC have been working together for years and since that is where she wants to go to medical school it does make sense. She is a terrific child and I dont worry about her one bit, so far. She wrecked her car, not her fault, and she has been driving mine, so I had to buy a new car. Went yesterday. My goodness that was exhausting. I had forgotten you have to sign a stack of papers inches high and it takes all day. But I bought a brand new big tank of a car, with a V8 and all the engine stuff men like, all leather interior with every bell and whistle one could imagine. I'll probably never figure it all out. I saw Dr. yesterday and everything is going very well. I am feeling so much better. It as if the blinds are being lifted and I can begin to see the light one slit at a time. I am planning on returning to work the end of June. Have not told my boss that yet, will wait until I have been off the antibiotics for a while and make sure there are no more infections. I have been having some bad dizzy spells. I tought is was the drugs so I stopped all of them. Well as it turns out it is my neck. I have a disc protruding so I would like to fix that before returning. My appetite is back and I dont want to gain weight, I lost almost 30 pounds after the surgery. Thats a lot for me as I am short and large framed, could stand to loose another 20 and then would be super skinny, for me, but that can wait I need to stabilize where I am now. Well let me know how things are going since we last spoke, its been well over a month since our last real chat. I really enjoyed meeting you in the hospital and hope we can meet again, maybe for a light lunch some time. Love, Chrissy
