Guest guest
n, I have a question. I know this has been talked about a million times, but. You said in your post the a mackaw was a definate no-no. Just curious. (Because I have a sun conure and a macaw) Please dont tell me I have to get rid of them. They are kind of like a part of the family. The boys love them. Vondie non cf post OK everyone, here I sit, Monday night, Christmas vacation and I am all be myself. and Ian are spending the night with friends and hubby Damon is off helping his friend install a ceramic tile floor in Nevada. This is so strange. I wander around with nothing to do (albeit there is ALWAYS something to do around here). It is hard for me to sit and watch tv. I find myself talking to my dogs... " you guys need to come in, its cold " or " would you like something to eat? Are you hungry? " . Heaven help me when they are out of the house ( the kids not the dogs)! So I went and rented all of the chick flix I could find :)It is not uncommon for me to complain about not having time to myself, well I guess I should be careful about what I wish for! e, sitting with a box of tissues and a pint of ice cream which I don't have to share!!! ------------------------------------------- The opinions and information exchanged on this list should IN NO WAY be construed as medical advice. Guest guest
Vondie, I am not your family's doctor, but there are viruses, spirochetes, and parasites as well as bacteria that are carried only by birds that can cause the loss of a lung in a normal adult. Talk to your cf doctor about it, and have the bird get the best veterinarian care, and follow the advice of the experts. I will say, that all my doctors advise against keeping a bird inside the house--but those are MY doctors, not yours, nor the boys; I would ask the experts on this one! Thank you for your post and your concern, n Rojas, who will try to send you an accessible link on this in a minute! non cf post OK everyone, here I sit, Monday night, Christmas vacation and I am all be myself. and Ian are spending the night with friends and hubby Damon is off helping his friend install a ceramic tile floor in Nevada.
