Hi Betty-

I've been a massaged therapist since 1993. TMJ massage is part of the

training in neuromuscular therapy (a massage technique, generally classes

taken for continuing education). If you'd like to have a therapist give you

a treatment first, before you try it yourself... just look in the phone book

under massage for a therapist who does neuromuscular therapy (NMT). Many

list TMJ as one of their specialties and some dentists work directly with

LMTs (Licensed Massage Therapists) in their practice.

Hope it helps!

Karla :)
