Guest guest
Hi Betty- I've been a massaged therapist since 1993. TMJ massage is part of the training in neuromuscular therapy (a massage technique, generally classes taken for continuing education). If you'd like to have a therapist give you a treatment first, before you try it yourself... just look in the phone book under massage for a therapist who does neuromuscular therapy (NMT). Many list TMJ as one of their specialties and some dentists work directly with LMTs (Licensed Massage Therapists) in their practice. Hope it helps!
