Thanks for the information. I think it's finally getting better. My physical therapist thinks I have a "bone bruise." I had never heard of it, but I think she might be right. It's still black and blue, but at least it doesn't wake me when the sheet touches it at night. I'm able to take less pain meds, so I'll live. LOL
