Guest guest
We're two full weeks into SCD. The kids are eating chicken, beef, lamb, carrots, green beans, onions & garlic (fresh, cooked, in foods for flavor), squashes, eggs, zucchini once or twice, baked apples, bananas (baked pears seemed to give two of them a diaper rash when I tried once last week so I discontinued) & watered down apple ciders & pineapple juice (always half/half). Should I be noticing anything positive at this point? Everything seems quite the same except my daughter is cranky as can be & always wanting food. The baby (nursing & eating; we're both on SCD) broke out in eczema again on his face, not as bad as it was, but it's there. I haven't noted any big difference in the other two kids. Maybe it's early, but I'm stressed & tired & needing to see some evidence this is working somehow. My chest was so tight tonight from so much to do as usual. Tomorrow I was going to try to make yogurt from raw goat's milk. I have extra milk. Can I freeze it since I cannot freeze the yogurt? It was hard to get so I can get extra that way & freeze it until I need it. I may also try them on almond or peanut butter (not sure which is best to start), so I can start making more filling breakfasts hopefully. Thanks for any input...
