Guest guest Posted July 7, 2002 Report Share Posted July 7, 2002 Hello Everyone, I just wanted to say that I am still recovering from my surgery and it hurts! I also saw a cornea specialist on Friday because I can't see very well at all out of my right eye and this was the third eye doc I saw since I had my surgery. He told me my eye was so dry (I have Sjogren's Syndrome too) that I had lesions on it and he pulled out the long needle and closed my tear duct on the bottom--the top ones are already closed. Boy did that hurt, oh well it just added more black and blue to me. He is hoping I will get some of my vision back. I Pray that I will!! I also have a question for you guys. I am in a flare and the prednisone isn't taking care of it. The Rheumy wants to start me on Methotrexate as soon as I heal up a little bit better. I am so confused about everything. My left ear is pounding inside and hurting but the pred isn't working and I am very concerned about taking the Methotrexate. Can anyone tell me what their experience is on this med? Does this mean you can get off of the pred eventually? Thanks for any info that you give me. I hope everyone is doing fine.
