Guest guest
Hi, I'm finding it stressful that 's new osteopath pushes my husband to stop the helmet because it might be counteracting his treatments. The ortho does not believe in osteopathy. Have other people run into this? We don't bother telling the ortho about the alternative treatments. However, it is hard to hide the helmet from the osteopath and I'm always scared he can tell. Last time my husband took the helmet off before going in, but he could see from 's hair that he had been wearing it. I'm already anxious enough about the head. So, my husband has been taking to the osteopath appointments, but then my husband has to take time off work. It is confusing that these two experts have completely different ideas. My opinion is that the best bet is to continue with both. The osteopath has done wonders at smoothing out the bulge on the right side. I believe the helmet is helping redirect growth so that the flat area slowly fills in. -Kathy, mom to turning 18 months
