Mark and All,

I'm glad you posted that article. I will need to print that to

show my new doctor. I was just recently in the hospital for an

attack and wasn't there even 48 hours and my doc told me she was

putting me on clear liquids and I couldn't have any more pain meds.

Needless to say the liquids make me sicker and when I finally

couldn't stand the pain anymore I told the nurse to call the doc for

something. I was told by my doc to tuff it out and given 2 tylenol.

I wasn't a happy camper. The next day was terrible because of the

pain and vomitting and the doc wouldn't even return my nurses call.

My doc came in later and boy did we have it out about that and i

finally told her i didn't think I would be going to her anymore. i

told her that if I was in the hospital that I shouldn't have to be in

ANY pain and her answer to that was that i just needed to tuff it

out. She then told me I was a drug addict in so many words, I only

have the durigisic patches at home and am still on the same box of 5

that I have had since Jan. Yep thats me the drug addict. Well to

make a long story short she just discharged me after she sent another

doc in for a consult to belittle me somemore about using to much

demerol while in the hospital(25 mg every 4 hrs). I have drug

allergies that prevent me from using most other medicines and can't

help that they medicines the hosp most uses is what I can't take.

I've rambled on enough and am not making much sense, all I can see

is red right now. HEATHER
