Guest guest
My son woke up this morning with an actively bleeding lower outer lip. Couldn't see any evidence that he had cut it with his tooth while he slept. What could that be from? The only recent change in diet and supplements is adding Natural Calm (magnesium citrate, stevia, orange essence) and vitamin B6 in the evening. He is taking amoxicillin and zithromycin for Lyme, and follows the specific carbohydrate diet including goat milk yogurt, so the stevia in the Natural Calm is a departure from the diet. The meds are from a compounding pharmacy so are as pure as it gets. The weather is a bit colder, but neither he nor anyone else in the family has ever had any part of the body crack open and bleed due to sheer dryness. However, that is the only cause I can think of. He takes in plenty of fluid, so what else can I do to keep this from happening again? Thank you for any advice. mother of Adam (8, PDD-NOS, Lyme, hypotonia, asthma, egg allergy, SCD 7/06)
