Guest guest
Hi Chrissy, The time taken to reach my final destination..from arriving at first airport to arriving at last airport will be a total of 32 hours. How much fun can I have with a 3 year old for that amount of time in confined and semi confined spaces huh? *LOL* Flying time is 22 hours, and airport waits run to 10 hours. I change planes in Dallas from Knoxville, then have a 6 hour wait in Los Angeles. Have booked dinner at the revolving restaurant in that funny shaped arch type building in the center of the airport grounds, just to get out of the place..(my stepsister when she came over last year had about 9 hours to wait, so she got a cab to the beach and spent the day on the beach, then back to the airport to shower and board her plane...ashame i'll be landing there late afternoon), then to Sydney for 2 hours, and then to Adelaide. I told my mum I want lots of Villi's pies and pasty's and sausage rolls.. (all savoury, and not found over here..are all australian food recipes) for lunch. All fattening, but I do not care..has been 6 years since I've been able to have one, so I will be splurging *L* I am all ready to go. Just need to pick up the letter from my doc's office for the narcotics, and now is just waiting and enjoying the last few days with my husband and getting teary eyed at knowing how hard it is going to be for him to be away from us for this time. But then it is only 7 weeks out of a lifetime..which isn't too much to ask. Yes I am excited excited excited..feel like a little kid...I'll just use as an excuse if hubby finds me jumping up and down with glee *LOL* My mum has a computer, so can go online to keep up to date and chat with hubby over the net..although i'll be up very late due to the time differences *L* but then i'm up till 3 most mornings these days.
