Guest guest
My 13 year old daughter who has OCD had a complete digestive analysis done from diagnos-techs. 1) presence of antibodies to ameba hisolytica (a parasite) was found in saliva 2) abundant strep found in stool 3)abnormally low enzyme marker, high colon inflammation I'm confused about what works to really get rid of ameba histolytica. I am leaning towards her taking tinidazole because the herbal alternative my naturopath also suggests may cause a lot of nausea and she would have to take it for 18 days. The tinidazole only needs to be taken for 3 days but it has many cautions with it too. Is either really effective? Anybody had results with any treatment. Does SCD help with parasites? If enzymes are a problem is SCD helpful for that? -Lori
