Guest guest
Good Morning!!! Well the lump to the side of the hernia repair started to burn last night so I thought I better call Dr. Cutie Pie this am. My followup appointment is tomorrow but will let him make the choice if it is ok to wait until then. I sure don't want to hear the why do you wait speech. Plus that darn flu feeling is excelerating, that started yesterday too. Why can't they make that stop, I just don't get it. One Md says its the panc, one says its the infection, one says it the trauma my body has been thru with the progressive stenting, infection and now surgery. I could understand being tired but muscle ache??? I am getting very ANGRY right now because all I want is to get better and get back into the swing of things. I don't even know who I should tell about this darn flu feeling coming back with a gusto. The infectious dude, my cardioligist/PCP, the surgeon, my Gi Md or my panc Md. Sure is a tangled web... I have been off the antibiotics for 16 days, but did have the IV profilaxisis (sp)antibiotics for the surgery so that was 11 days ago. I guess now that the antibiotics are wearing off it is returning. I really don't think it is my panc because I can eat everything and have absolutely no pain, that is a good thing... Sorry for venting, I usually just grin and bear it but at times it overwhelms me. The last time I saw the infectious Md I asked him what if it comes back, and he said, " We are just going to shoot you " . So that indicates to me that they are also at wits end as to how to stop this. Oh well, life can be so much fun sometimes, what can you do. Roll with the punches I guess.... Maybe I could live on antibiotics the rest of my life, now thats an idea.... Love, W Wisconsin
Guest guest
, I had surgery in January to remove a few tumors from my abdominal wall, and they had to remove a lot of my stomach muscles and also from my pubic area. I still get a severe burn at times, especially when I get out of bed. I imagine it to be the muscles stretching from where they have been sewn back together again. I will have to ask my doctor when I get back from my trip in August if this is the reason. Hopefully that is all your burn is also..scar tissue being stretched, or where they had to resew, and will just take time to heal...which means that I hope that is all mine is, and not a tumor growing back which for me is 70% chance or recurrence *pout*
