Guest guest
Hi Group, My name is Jim Haight. I'm one of the old members lurking in the background. So.....Hello to all my old friends and welcome to all you newbees. I have been working on a claim with the VA for the past two years, trying to connect Polychondritis to Agent Orange. The Department Of Veterns has accepted Diabetes as a result of Agent Orange.(52% of Vietnam Veterans have diabetes) There is a statement in the Veterans Entitlements Act 1986 that states Polychondritis can be related to military service. But the VA red tape is all too deep. They have told me that if I can connect stress to Polychondritis, they may be able to connect Diabetes as a stressfull event that triggers a Poly flair. We(the poly group)know that stress does trigger flairs, and stress does cause sugar counts to go up, but does anyone have this in writting? Does anyone have Poly flairs with Diabetes flairs? Any info relating Stress...Poly....Diabetes would be greatly appreciated. If any of you Vietnam Vets have Diabetes, file a claim with the VA, you will receive compensation. The Vietnam Veterans 0f America have info and can help you get through some of the BS. Now you all know why I don't write much. You all...I'm starting to sound like Lu. Take Care, Jim
