Guest guest
Hey Y'all, We got back on Saturday from my extended visit to the beach to see my cousins. The first day I was there it got down to 48 degrees...darn, and the following day was like the middle of winter! But the sun and heat finally complied on the second day and we were all having such a wonderful time being together again that I ended up staying an additional day, and then had to stop over in ton to see my daughter, take care of some wedding arrangements and bring her home with me for the weekend. Thank you, Jac, Deanna, Chrissy and everyone else for their " well " wishes. I did have such a bad spell the week before that feeling great for the family reunion was even more of a surprise.....it was delightful not to have to have pain interfere with our time together. It made me appreciate the visit even more, and we had a wonderful time, regardless of the weather. I'm trying to catch up on the messages and noticed all the new names I see on the message board. Welcome, again, to all our new members! I hope you'll find this wonderful group of people just as helpful and supportive as I have over the last three years. Some of the names change as people come and go, but the experiences and willingness to help others with their pancreatitis problems remains constant, so I hope you'll experience this with us. I won't be able to be as active with the membership these next few months as I normally have been, but I will be checking in periodically and still hope that I'll be able to help anyone when I can, with their specific needs. The pre-wedding social activities have begun, (Yikes!), and I've found that I'll have to be traveling to ton or Macon, Ga. several weekends during the next few months. Additionally, my husband and I will be leaving town for our annual visit to the Adirondacks this coming month, before my grandson Austin arrives for the summer. I'll still be here in spirit, if not in person, and will keep in touch as much as I can. With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth South Carolina SC & SE Regional Rep.
