Aetna denied

Ok, I was denied by my insurance today because Dr. R is out of my

retrospocity (SP?). I live in Oklahoma and can go to dr.s in Oklahoma,

Texas, Oregon and Memphis Tenn. (not all of Tenn...just Memphis). Dr. R

IS in the Aetna network but because he isnt in one of my states I cant go

to him. The nurse I spoke to was a real dear abt it and encouraged me to

appeal. I know I have seen on here many times an appeal letter that seems

to work wonders with insurance companies. Can someone plz send me a copy

of that appeal letter privately. I never paid it much mind before because

I was so sure I would get approved. I looked on Dr. R's page as well as

's and didnt see a copy in either place. Any help in this matter

would be greatly appreciated. I am also going to the dr on thursday to sit

with him to let him know what I want in an appeal. My nurse seemed

encouraging that an appeal would be favorably looked at.
