Guest guest
My cousin always thought I was nuts (not that I am not) because I talk to my car-- it comes from an old movie starring the guy who later became the star of Baywatch, and his totally computerised car, Kit, who always told him what " they " were going to do and gave him advise. She also was shocked that I have always " named " things: computer, car, motorcycle (in past years), mixer, blender, etc. My husband did the same--I mean it was not a " loneliness " thing--it is just fun; and I always talk to my dogs, who live nearby with friends now, you get the picture here; I have never personally addressed a picc line, but have talked to my port-a-cath. Love to all at cfparents, n Rojas non cf post OK everyone, here I sit, Monday night, Christmas vacation and I am all be myself. and Ian are spending the night with friends and hubby Damon is off helping his friend install a ceramic tile floor in Nevada. This is so strange. I wander around with nothing to do (albeit there is ALWAYS something to do around here). It is hard for me to sit and watch tv. I find myself talking to my dogs... " you guys need to come in, its cold " or " would you like something to eat? Are you hungry? " . Heaven help me when they are out of the house ( the kids not the dogs)! So I went and rented all of the chick flix I could find :)It is not uncommon for me to complain about not having time to myself, well I guess I should be careful about what I wish for! e, sitting with a box of tissues and a pint of ice cream which I don't have to share!!! ------------------------------------------- The opinions and information exchanged on this list should IN NO WAY be construed as medical advice.
