Guest guest
Good Afternoon everyone... How much more fun can life get. The medical drama really needs to stop for once. As you know the Mds are treating an infection in my sinus. The flu feeling is now about a 4, is a good thing. Had a setback on Thursday/Friday but am heading in the right direction again. My infectious Md wanted to see me next week, but I will be in Indianapolis. He wants more tests. They are looking further, should be better by now. Have been on antibiotics for 20 days now. They are still looking for the source. He told me to see the ID Md (infectious disease) while in Indianapolis. Ya, sure....No way.... Too far from home. Stenting is one thing, but seeing the ID Md there, No.... Will see my local ID Md when I return. So in the mean time I am to stay on the antibiotics and see him when I get back. I will try and figure this out before I see him again. I am going to Indianapolis on Tuesday for an ERCP on Wednesday. Most likely, due to me being sick, the stenting will stop. He will probably just pull the double stents and not continue. That will stink because I want to remain open the longest and was only one more stenting away from being done. I can eat everything again, no diarhhea and no pain. So thats good, it is open and flowing. When my ducts close up again, hopefully I will be well and the stenting can continue for the stretch I need to stay open long. I do have a question. Can a hernia, mid abdominal, the size of a lemon, that pops out sometimes, become a life threatening condition or does it just remain a nuscience. (sp) Could it make you feel like the flu? Just wondering about this situation, thanks for the replys. Talk to you soon Love, W Wisconsin
