Guest guest
A second band would only be needed if the baby would outgrow the first before getting maximum correction (if there was still significant assymetry). Only about 15% or so of babies require a second band at CT. And yes, you would have to pay again for the second band. Good luck with his fitting! Jake-3 (DOCBand Grad 9/08) > > > > > > Hello, My name is Rosemary Avila and my 10 month old son was just fitted for his DOC Band on 10/27/09 in Phoenix, Az with CT. This is new to me so it's great to know that I found this group to be able to ask questions and get advice as to what I will be expecting. My son will receive his DOC Band on 11/10/09 and I'm a little nervous but I know that the DOC Band will help shape his head back to normal. Not sure if it will take a longer process due to the fact that he is a little older than most kids are when receiving the band. Does anyone know, normally how long the treatment last? > > > > > > > > > Rosemary Avila, mother of 10 month old > > > > > >
