Guest guest
Hi Heidi, its the cheese-lady! My husband and I both take a cholesterol lowering medication called WelChol. We have both had abnormal liver function tests so cannot take statins. WelChol is not absorbed or processed by the liver, but is processed in the gut. It has lowered my total cholesterol and the bad cholesterol, and has raised the good cholesterol. Nothing else I have ever been on has done that. The only other thing I can recommend is exercise. My cholesterol was almost 300, and is now down to some wonderful number in the 100's. Take care and keep shopping for the cheese. Not for Don though! Love you, squeek --- Heidi Main wrote: > Ok It's just me and I got a ? for anyone. > Don's Blood work came back and even true he was > taking cholesterol meds his Cholesterol was still > high.
