Blurred Vision---

Good morning, !

For myself, I noticed that whenever my prednisone is increased to 40 mg,

my vision does tend to get blurry, and I start to get a ringing in my

ear. Also, I noticed that slight blurring occurs when my eye pressure is

increased (also a side effect from these steroid eye drops that I wwas

using)...Perhaps your doctor can help you double check your meds for any

side effects.

Unfortunately, the side effects from the prednisone resulted in bilateral

catarats after my first year of prednisone....I've had both lens replaced

back in 1995. Fortunately, I only need thin, light weight glasses now

for reading and for fine work....I have the no line bifocals, too....in

some ways, it has been a blessing to have the cataract implants, as I am

able to wake up every morning, and actually SEE without my room being a

total blurr....

Did your eye Doc check for Cataracts?

I have them in both eyes and my vision is blurred.

The eye dr. said everything looks okay although I am still

complaining about blurred vision.

Ohmygosh! I saw my eye doctor this week, and he said my eyes are fine

and I'm so blurred I can hardly read a book!! What's THAT all about??!!

He said I had a " little " change in the right eye, but it's the LEFT eye

that is so blurry. I have the no-line bifocals and he suggested that I

go with the line bifocals, saying that " might help. " What's causing this

blurry vision? Anybody have ANY ideas? I've never had this before

unless my eyeglass prescription really needed changing.
