Guest guest
and Glenda-- This is not the best time of year to ask me how I'm doing! It's allergy time here in New England and I felt it immediately one day when the ears suddenly got much worse. When I saw my pcp the other day at least she didn't tell me I am healthy as she has before -- " with this one little exception " . Saw my ENT today [he was wearing his Snoopy tie and socks for his young patients]. He's the one who is most understanding about this. I told him that antihistamines help the polychondritis a little but I can't go around in a drowsy fog most of the time. He gave me a new one to try. We'll see what happens. It's taken years to convince my doctors that I am not imagining that it flares up every April. Frustrating, isn't it? Allergies and stress are the main causes for me. And this has been a stressful few months....My sister had a major stroke two months ago..is recovering but will never be all right. Her daughter & granddaughter are in Florida and will bring her up to Connecticut tomorrow where most of the family is. That should help her morale.
