Ok, 's birthday was Friday. she had the day off from school and had a

good day. She got a bunch of her presents ( a mini trampoline, a baby doll, a

Barbie, a Ken, a Barbie sheet set to complete her Barbie bed ensemble.....) And

I made a cake. We also went to my sister in law's house and had Chinese food

for lunch.

Then on Saturday was the BIG party at the nearby state park. They rent out

pavilions and there is a playground right by the site. A bunch of friends,

cousins, aunts and uncles and grandparents were there. Another cake (My sister

made her a castle cake- really cool) About 15-20 min. after her friend and

her big sister arrived with their Mom, and were playing on the

jungle gym with the other kids. My hubby was watching them all playing while I

was getting things organized and saying hello to everyone. The next thing we

hear is one of the kids screaming and up runs and . was crying

and holding her arm out from her body at a funny angle. The poor little girl

fell off the jungle gym. When she started telling her mom that she wanted to

" go home " I knew that se had really gotten hurt. Her mom took her girls to the

hospital. Long story short, When we got home from the party, I left a message

for 's mom. She called back and told me that 's arm is broken.

Apparently the hospital was keeping score Saturday - kids vs jungle gym, Jungle

gyms 3, Kids 0. was the third jungle gym accident of the day.

The party went ok after broke her poor little arm. Face painting, pinata,

cake..... but I felt so bad for her. So now, even though I am really tired, I

am up at 3:45 am worrying about 's arm (I have been up since 2 worrying

about it). Anyway, celebrated her 5th birthday on the day that her

cousin got the staples out of his head (another story entirely) and her

friend broke her arm. OH MAN what a day!
