My frozen peaches ingredients say: peaches, ascorbic acid, citric acid adn malic acid to promote color retention. Wanted to try peach icecream. Wanted to try peach > icecream. >> This would be fine to use. The ascorbic acid and citric acid are listed as legal on the BTVC website http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/ under legal/illegals. Malic acid is called the " fruit acid " since it comes from apples and other fruit.
