not liking the helmet...what does a parent do?

My little 5 month old baby boy does not like his helmet it has been fitted for

him 3 times and he still doesn't like it .....do any parents out there have any

suggestions.

I guess I would wonder what " not liking it " means--is it leaving marks and

causing him pain? Or is he annoyed by it?

Because I would have very different ideas for each of those.

My baby didn't love it when he got it on; he still gets very angry 5 months

later when we take it off or put it on-- But he's used to it. He needed it

badly so as long as it wasn't causing him pain, he was just going to have to

adjust to it, and he has.

But if it was leaving marks or he was screaming for 20 minutes after it went on

and I thought it was actually hurting him--I wouldn't have been so tough about

it.

So what is he doing that makes you think he " doesn't like it " ? More description

would help a lot.

I know *I* certainly don't like it and wish I could get it off!!!! but we have

AT LEAST 5 weeks left, ugh.
