Guest guest
Dear Andre, Good to see you posting again! I'm glad your father has improved enough to be out of hospital and that you are feeling good to be home. I hope for less painful days for you. How are you sleeping? If I remember rightly, you were having difficulties? With very good wishes and hopes for better times ahead, Fliss (UK)
Guest guest
I'm still having the same difficulties as before with my sleep habits. I'm still sleeping upright in my chaor, now going on 8 years since I was able to spend an entire night in bed. It's been so long, I almost forgot what it feels like to be able to sleep in a reclining position. None of my doctors seem to understand the problems this has caused me and have no answeres for me as to why this is so or how to improve me in this area. Just one more area of frustration I have to deal with. I also have lots of trouble getting to sleep still and recently I went 4 days with only about 4 hours of sleep throughout that period, only to fall asleep once this period of time expired and slept throughout the entire day and night, not awakening until the afternoon of the next day. I hate what this disease has forced me to accept but, I'm still alive and kicking so that is something. The reason why I say this is because i just found out that one of my childhood friends recently died from pancreatic cancer (he too was 52 yrs old at the time). Unfortunately, I didn;t find out about this until after he had expired and naturaly I felt badly that I couldn't offer him some help or support during his final days. So I do feel fortunate that I only have pancreas divisum and not cancer... Andre' > Dear Andre, > Good to see you posting again!
