Guest guest
Hello Heidi, I'm so sorry about the sciatic nerve problem, especially as you've been doing so well pancreas-wise. I have no experience of this, I'm afraid, apart from my Headteacher who had a bad bout of sciatica recently; at least that's what it was diagnosed as. He could hardly walk at all and getting in and out of his car was clearly agonising. The odd thing is that it seemed to disappear on its own after a week or two. I don't know if that means it wasn't sciatica after all or if it means that you can hope for the best, Heidi! Of course, his wasn't the result of any obvious incident or injury as yours was; as far as he knew, it just appeared out of the blue so maybe the whole process would be different in that case. Let's hope the chiropractor really does help anway. If you're anything like me, you sort of think that other medical problems shouldn't really affect us....we have enough to cope with with the CP! Of course, it doesn't work like that! I hope it goes away very quickly and that you manage to enjoy that ride with Austin. Hopefully someone with the condition will give you advice now. Take care and take it easy. With very good wishes, Fliss (UK)
