Guest guest
It's a brand new day and I took another thrust at Kraft armed with a UPC Code number that was on the website and which they did not recognize. (BTW:Even though this is not about Gluten Free, Kraft said all their Gluten Free products are currently under review. This proves our point that making a list of legal commercial products is not reliable as companies make changes.) Yesterday I was reminded that such cheese is not legal and I wanted to show why... and the difficulty sometimes encountered dealing with commercial food processors. So many list members think we are old meanies, but the heart has its reasons. Basically I wanted to know about their several varieties of shredded Cheddar, (no mixtures such as pizza threesomes that include illegal cheese like l Mozzarella). The customer service rep disappeared for what seemed like a lifetime and returned with the news that indeed, shredded Cheddar contains anti-caking agents. Thanks to whomever pointed out yesterday that packaged shredded cheese is illegal. Carol F.
