Guest guest
Patty, You will be in my thoughts. Now that Medicare has stated that obesity is a disease not a lifestyle you would think it would be easier to get approval. Don't forget about the backaches, knee pains and I didn't get obesity related diseases until I turned 50 so for sure you are looking at problems down the road. When I started having problems I said, there are large women in my family and no one has diabetes, colon polys and other bad things. My sainted doctor (LOL) explained that I was making history! Soon after other relatives started having health problems so I was just the first which maybe you too. And don't forget how hard it is to keep up with your kids with the weight. I am getting so nervous for you. Guest guest
Hey , I am right there with you and my knee's are a knock'n! I have surgery on the 7th and today did my pre-op labs and stuff. Made it all more real to me. But with faith we can do it and try to keep calm. I ask at my surgeon's office today for something to ease the nerves and was told he doesn't do that...LOL!!! Oh well if I dont get much sleep then it will be easier to pass out on Tuesday...LOL! Good luck by the way getting a date for surgery and it will be okay! Hugs, in AL. > I have a scheduled date for gastric bypass surgery on Sept. 30th. > The closer the date gets, the more terrified I am. I suppose this is > normal??? I find myself thinking of all the negatives instead of the > positives. I'd enjoy hearing from those of you who have " been there, > done that " already. Maybe some of you can calm my fears. Thanks!
