We are trying to be as fanatical as possible. We really want this diet to work. As far as I know, the only illegal he's getting is his Asacol (which he needs to take for his Crohn's). I know he needs a lot of gut healing, and that this will take time. I don't mind advancing slowly, but neither of us likes going back. I'd like to get this " D " issue cleared up. He shouldn't lose any more weight (he's around 105 lbs or so). I want to avoid going back to his doctor, because at the first sign of a flare-up, the doc wants to put him on Prednisone or up his meds. He doesn't understand the diet. He says, " If you want to go through a lot of unnecessary work when we could just up his meds, that's up to you two. " He thinks we're crazy, but Adam is already doing better than the doctor ever thought he would (except for this one little issue). So, any more ideas on what's wrong? -Sharon wife of Adam -Crohn's 4 years -SCD the right way, 2 months.
Guest guest
Elaine thought that the Friendship Farmer Cheese might be too difficult to digest for a small number of persons. Friendship used to make an easier to digest cheese but it was discontinued. Stop the cheese and see the results.
