Guest guest
It seems that time is passing so quickly. It was yesterday that the United States was attacked by terrorists. Now it is only twenty four days to September 11. A day for mourning, a day for pride, and above all, a day for sorrow. A day of mourning for lost loved ones, for Fathers, Mothers, Sisters and brothers. Mourning for friends, co-workers, and others that we knew. A day of great pride for the Police, the Firefighters, and all the rescue people that gave their lives freely that others may live. Pride in the hero that said " LET'S ROLL!! and saved a target in Washington D.C. Proving that when Americans get together they can and do act. Of course there is always sorrow. Sorrow for all of those lost in the attack. Sorrow for the young wife, the son, and the daughter that go to bed and cry because the strong figure of dad won't come through the door and send all their troubles away. We Americans can be proud of the way we all got together and helped those that needed help. Spiritual, loving, medical, mental and above all the support of the one that looks after all of us. The terrorists thought ,in error, that this dastardly act would have the American nation scared to death and quivering with fear. They should have studied World War 2 and very closely read about Pearl Harbor. Maybe then they wouldn't have been so rash. But no, their leaders fed them a line of how we would beg for mercy, and pray for them to leave us alone. It didn't work on December 7th, 1941, and it sure as hell didn't work on September 11, 2001. We are once again involved in a war not of our making. But like WW2 we will win, and we as Americans will bring the leaders to a just and final end. America is my country, right or wrong. It is still the best place on earth to live. My Brother sent me this, and I pass it on to all of you. Please read and join in wear our colors, and take a minute to give thinks for what we have and those who died to help us keep it. September 11, 2001 On that day, please wear red, white and blue to work or school to show your support for our nation, for those who lost their lives, for the heroes who worked to save them, and for the families left behind on 9/11/01. At noon your time on September 11, 2002, no matter where you are, or what you are doing, please stop and say a prayer for our nation. If all of us do this together in every time zone around the world, we will have a powerful chain of thoughts surrounding us. There's power in prayer, and there's power in prayer in numbers. Please keep this going by forwarding to your friends and family. By September 11, 2002, hopefully this email will have circled the world. United we stand and united we pray. When you have done all you can, God will do what you can't.
