Hello Kaye,

Thank you for your reply and comments. My doc did tell me that uric

acid levels did not necessarily indicate gout or no-gout. He simply

ordered the test because of the concern that enzymes can cause the

levels to rise. He doesn't think my problem is gout. My blood tests

were normal apart from slight anaemia, which I've had all my adult

life.

I'll have to carry on looking for the cause of the problem because

on some days now my feet, left foot especially is really painful.

How are you just now? Thanks again for your post!

With very good wishes,

Fliss (UK)

Hi Kaye,

I'm glad you got to go home...I've been in your shoes with the PICC

line blood clot scenario, and it was a very scary time for me. My

clot (actually one of them...I had 2 develop) worked it's way into

my jugular..guess it was heading up not down...

Anyway, I hope you don't have any more bad experiences...I hate

those when it rains it pours times.
