Guest guest
Hi; I like your name. There is a sphincter muscle at the top of your stomach that connects to the esophagus. It is called the cardiac sphincter. The medication you take reduce the amount of acid your stomach makes. However, if you have a weak sphincter you will still have some " uprisings " from time to time. There are no exercises that I am aware of that can strengthen that muscle. I am not certain if there are medications that can tighten either. However, there is a surgical procedure, called Laproscopic Nissen Fundoplication that is a surgical cure for acid reflux. I am not by any means saying that your problem is from the cardiac sphincter. I am only saying that it happens to some. I hope you are doing well.
