Hi; I like your name. There is a sphincter muscle at the top of

your stomach that connects to the esophagus. It is called the

cardiac sphincter. The medication you take reduce the amount of

acid your stomach makes. However, if you have a weak sphincter you

will still have some " uprisings " from time to time. There are no

exercises that I am aware of that can strengthen that muscle. I am

not certain if there are medications that can tighten either.

However, there is a surgical procedure, called Laproscopic Nissen

Fundoplication that is a surgical cure for acid reflux.

I am not by any means saying that your problem is from the cardiac

sphincter. I am only saying that it happens to some.
