Do you know how good that feels to say out loud. Dear : Yes, I know how good that is to say that out loud. LOLOLOLOL, I am shouting for joy. Isn't it wonderful to be home and pain free with a new life ahead of you. Don't you feel reborn? I know that you like me feel the feelings we feel and not many people can understand those feelings. I wish they could. Isn't it a miracle? I am so, so happy for you dear . I am grinning from ear to ear. Bless your heart you brave girl. I know that Annette and Steve are also on cloud nine. it is over and you did so great. I too was so surprised to hear how many islets Dr. Sutherland was able to retrieve. That is wonderful. When I was operated on patients weren't sent home on insulin. I wish they had done that then in 2000. I am mild diabetic and I think that if I had been sent home on insulin I might have had a better chance for not being diabetic. I know you probably get advice from many people BUT here goes. Get lots of rest. Eat small meals and plan on recovering slowly and before you know it you will be eating full meals. It creeps up on you and in no time you will find yourself eating all that you want. Keep me posted on your progress. I want to be a part of your life. I feel you are my child or grand child. I love you and I am so happy for you. I am overjoyed. Have fun in your new life. Love, Shirley
