If you look at the research, it shows that optimum results are before 12 months. I think that CT doesn't want you to waste money and get your hopes up for results in treatment, and have it be a waste of your time. If you feel like it needs to be treated, you should see your ortho or ped and ask them what the next steps are since the Star band treatment didn't work and your son is 16 mo.
