Guest guest
For those who use it, there is now a generic 80mg tablet available. The manufacturer is TEVA Pharmaceuticals Ltd.You May have to have your pharmecist order it. I urge anyone who uses smaller doses to please contact their website and send them a note. There's a place to do this on their site. Regards, Knox Nor-Cal
Guest guest
Sonja, I don't take oxycontin, but I do take Oxy IR, which is the immediate release version of oxycodone. (oxycontin is simply extended release oxycodone) I've been on oxy IR since January 2003. I was on Lortab (hydrocodone with tylenol) until that time. However, when I was diagnosed with autoimmune liver disease in Jan 03, the doctors no longer wanted me to have tylenol on a regular basis. I've had no problems with the Oxy IR and have found it to be an effective pain med. I'm on MS Contin (extended release morphine) and then have the Oxy IR for breakthru pain.
