Guest guest
Sonja, Your fatigue, excessive hunger, sweet cravings, frequent urination at night, blurred vision, weight gain and blurred vision are all positive symptoms of diabetes. My chronic pancreatitis lead to pancreas burnout last year resulting in a very serious hospitalization with diabetic ketoacidosis. When I left the hospital several days later I had the diagnosis of type 1 brittle diabetes. When I started toward diabetic ketoacidosis I had all of the symptoms you listed except for the weight gain. In my case I had severe weight loss. Weight gain, or weight loss are both symptoms. Also symptomatic for me was the loss of concentration, inability to balance well and the achiness all over the body. Please have yourself tested for diabetes at the earliest opportunity. It is not good to have those symptoms go untreated for any length of time. These diabetic symptoms are all indicators of a blood glucose imbalance, and for those of us with chronic pancreatitis, you could say that it " runs in the family " . Please let us know what you find out. With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth South Carolina SC & SE Regional Rep.
