Thats good info about the dietary supplements, I'll have to look

into adding them to my regime. However, women need to be cautious

with the dhea; but as we age we loose testosterone anyway.

I am worried that there will not be enough islet cells to

transplant. I was very obese and now am about 170ish depending on

fluid retention and such. I was hoping to drop another 15# or so

before the surgery but now I dont know if I will even get the

procedure or not. I dont eat much but then again I dont do much

either.

I wonder if my islet cells are still that of an obese person or if

they have thinned up as I have. That is an interesting thought,

perhaps that is the issue the doc in cincy has. He wants me to have

a gastric emptying study.

Thanks again for the all the good info and good luck with the new

endoc doc. I look forward to hearing what she has to say.
