Guest guest
Marilyn - hope they figure out what is wrong with your shoulder. When I first had problems, some years ago, I didn't believe surgery would help, so I kept putting it off - I remember that pain that you almost faint from. I went TWO YEARS in this miserable state. The orthophedic surgeon said it was quite clear from the MRI, something was impinging on something else, and the surgery was called an acromioplasty. So in desperation I agreed. Although the surgery was pretty tough and I was quite poorly afterwards (breathing problems etc) after about 6th months physical therapy I realised it began to feel better. After one year it was as good as new, if not better. When the other shoulder went I did not wait, and had it done before it got too bad. NOW my shoulders are the two most pain free joints in my body!!! All this is just to let you know if surgery is the right treatment it can help a lot!!!! I went through the steroid shots etc, too, (I have just started going that way with my hip.... groan!!!) Please hang in there and feel better. Love Liz __________________________________________________
